I left sixth form with three C’s at A-Level. It made me feel like I was rubbish, but actually I just needed better guidance on how to actually study.

I struggled when I was doing my A Levels because I went from being a pretty good student to really falling behind. You said you’re mediocre academically, but you’re going to study maths and physics at A Level? That’s awesome. You don’t need a plan, you only need to live the best life you can for yourself. It’s such a big wide world, full of all sorts of experiences and jobs and adventures. Hey, I just wanted to say that it’s really okay to feel like you have no direction at your age, and I don’t necessarily think you should think of joining the army as the only path which might give you that direction.
